Our primary goal, besides bringing about developments that benefit society in areas such as energy efficiency and environmental protection, is to open up new market opportunities for our industry partners. Here we focus on innovations in components, systems and services that serve to optimize functions and processes in residential and commercial buildings. Having an integrated chain of innovation from research through to application (inHaus pilot projects in the market) significantly increases our chances of success. Partners’ costs for complex and risky new developments are reduced by shared use of the inHaus labs and cooperative access to all the resources in the inHaus network.
